FA 101/201: A Beginning and Intermediate Financial Aid Workshop

This workshop will offer basic and intermediate tracks. FA 101 is intended for participants who have less than two years of experience in financial aid administration who want to ensure that they have a solid understanding of basic financial aid information and approaches. FA 201 is intended for participants who have been in the profession for more than two years who are eager to build on their knowledge and experience to grow into seasoned financial aid administrators.

LOCATION: Chemeketa Community College, 4000 Lancaster Dr. NE, Salem, Oregon (building and parking information will be provided)
TIME: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
FEES: Members preregistered $45

  • Awarding and Revising Awards

FA 201 topics will include:

  • Effective Communication Strategies
  • Consumer Information
  • Cash Management
  • Reporting Requirements
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Open Forum (topics to be determined)

Online registration will be open until Friday, October 21, 2016. You will be able to pay using the Pay By Credit Card option - or - print an invoice and mail your check to Stacie Englund, OASFAA Treasurer, at the address indicated on the invoice. If you are unable to mail your check by October 30 you may pay by cash or check at the workshop.
